Oslo, 18 July 2011
To The Presidents Of All Member Associations And To All Titulary Members
Dear Presidents and Titulary Members,
This is to provide more detailed information about the seminar to be arranged by the Norwegian Maritime Law Association on Monday, 26 September in Oslo, in conjuction with the CMI Assembly there on Tuesday, 27 September. The title of the seminar, which is going to be both thought provoking and interesting, is “A futuristic view on shipping – mega trends for the future”. The program is set out below.
In my letter of 9 June to the Presidents of the Member Associations, I informed of a special discount arranged for CMI visitors at the Hotel Continental, which is conveniently located in the centre of Oslo and very close to where the airport express train stops. When making a reservation please refer to my name and you will be able to obtain a price per night of NOK 1,465 including breakfast. Subject to availability of rooms there is also an offer of NOK 937 per night including breakfast for reservations from Saturday, 24 September to Tuesday, 27 September, see further www.hotel-continental.no, tel no. +47 22 88 24 00.
In order to assist the organisers of the seminar, please advise by e-mail to me within 30 August if you intend to attend the seminar, (kjgombrii@nordisk.no). A participation fee of NOK 500 or about Euro 60 will be charged for food and transportation.
The CMI Assembly will take place at 10.30 am on Tuesday, 27 September at the premises of the Norwegian Shipowners’ Association, Radhusgaten 25 in Oslo. Documents for the Assembly will be sent out in due course.
I hope to see as many members of the CMI as possible in Oslo in September and look forward to receiving e-mails from those who intend to participate in the seminar.
Best regards
