    The CMI holds a Conference every 3 – 4 years at which the work of International Working Groups and/or International Sub-Committees is debated and, if appropriate, concluded with a resolution at the plenary session at the end of the Conference.

Ann Fenech, an Executive Councillor of CMI presenting the CMI Prize to Miss Maria Fernanda Campos Lopes Soares from Brazil, at the graduation ceremony of the International Maritime Law Institute in Malta held on Saturday 29th May.  As a winner of the CMI Prize, Miss Campos Lopes Soares will be invited to address the young CMI delegates at the CMI meeting next year.   The CMI Prize is funded by the CMI Charitable Trust.

About CMI



The CMI holds a Conference every 3 – 4 years at which the work of International Working Groups and/or International Sub-Committees is debated and, if appropriate, concluded with a resolution at the plenary session at the end of the Conference.

In between the Conferences, Colloquia and Symposia are sometimes organised by National Maritime Law Association in conjunction with the CMI. In years when there is such a meeting, the annual Assembly of the CMI will be organised in conjunction therewith and otherwise as a separate event.
