PROFILE

The initiative to re-examine the liability of classification societies and the limitation of that liability, derives from an appeal made at the Hamburg Conference of the CMI in 2014 by the CMI Secretary-General, John Hare. Considerable support was voiced, hence the decision to put the class liability back onto the work programme of the CMI. (see Documents of Interest, 1. below or click here)
