The presentation of the CMI IMLI prize winner 2024

On Saturday, 17 May 2025, during the CMI General Assembly held in Tokyo, the winner of the 2024 CMI IMLI Prize, Mr. Ante Vojković LLM from Croatia, presented his paper:

“A Legal Analysis of Pollution Damage Claims in Case of Pollution by Oil and Bunker Oil: Understanding the International Regulatory Framework and the Specifics of the Croatian Legal System”

The presentation was interesting and effective and attracted considerable attention from the audience for its clear and creative analysis of a complex legal issue. Mr. Vojkovic emphasised how valuable the knowledge gained at International Maritime Law Institute had been in shaping his understanding of maritime law and expressed lasting gratitude for that experience.
