On 26 September 2024, the global maritime community will unite to celebrate World Maritime Day, with this yearโs theme: โNavigating the Future: Safety First!โ. The International Maritime Organization (IMO) will illuminate its Headquarters in blue to symbolise the vital role shipping plays in global trade and highlight the importance of safety at sea.
In support of this initiative, the Comitรฉ Maritime International and the Royal Belgian Shipowners’ Association (KBRV), who share the same headquarters, will be illuminating their building in blue.
