CMI is pleased to share an opportunity from BIMCO for colleagues and practitioners across the maritime and legal community.
BIMCO will be hosting ππ°π¨ ππ¨π²ππ π ππ‘ππ«πππ«π¬ πππ¬πππ«ππ₯ππ¬π¬ππ¬ π’π§ ππ«ππ³π’π₯ this May – an excellent opportunity for chartering professionals, maritime lawyers and industry stakeholders to deepen their understanding of voyage chartering ahead of the CMI – ComitΓ© Maritime International Conference taking place in Rio de Janeiro the following week.
The twoβday Masterclass programme provides a comprehensive introduction to BIMCOβs documentary work and explores key aspects of voyage chartering, including GENCON 2022, regional legal frameworks, and typical areas of dispute. The SΓ£o Paulo course will take place on 4-5 May and be hosted by the Chamber of Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration (CIESP/FIESP) and the Rio de Janeiro course will take place on 7-8 May and be hosted by Kincaid Mendes Vianna Advogados.
Speakers will be Chris Garley (HFW), Lucas Leite Marques, Camila Mendes Vianna Cardoso and Paulo Campos Fernandes (Kinkaid), Carolina de FranΓ§a, Lilian Elizabeth Menezes Bertolani (CIESP/FIESP), Geoffrey Conlin and Bernardo de Senna (CAR). BIMCO’s Head of Training Christian Hoppe will be joining as the organiser.
