CMI President, Ann Fenech had the honour of delivering the Tetley Lecture at Tulane University Law School in New Orleans.
Her lecture, titled โ๐๐ฉ๐ฆ ๐๐ฐ๐ญ๐ฆ ๐ฐ๐ง ๐ต๐ฉ๐ฆ ๐๐๐ ๐ช๐ฏ ๐ต๐ฉ๐ฆ ๐๐ฏ๐ช๐ง๐ช๐ค๐ข๐ต๐ช๐ฐ๐ฏ ๐ฐ๐ง ๐๐ฏ๐ต๐ฆ๐ณ๐ฏ๐ข๐ต๐ช๐ฐ๐ฏ๐ข๐ญ ๐๐ข๐ณ๐ช๐ต๐ช๐ฎ๐ฆ ๐๐ข๐ธ,โ explored the essential contributions of the CMI – Comitรฉ Maritime International in drafting the majority of maritime conventions since its inception in 1897. She highlighted how the CMI remains ahead of the game in today’s world of MASS (Maritime Autonomous Surface Ships), Decarbonisation, Attacks on the High Seas, and other pressing maritime issues.
