New Director Legal Affairs and External Relations Division IMO

Throughout London International Shipping Week 2023 the Comité Maritime International represented by its president, Ann Fenech and Maria Borg Barthet, the rapporteur of the CMI standing committee on the Implementation of International Maritime Conventions and Promotion of International Conventions, paid a visit to Dr Dorota Lost-Sieminska, the newly appointed Director of Legal Affairs and External Relations Division at the International Maritime Organization.

The main subject discussed was the importance of the work being done by the legal committee of the IMO and ways in which the CMI can be of assistance.

The CMI would like to thank immediate Past Director Fred Kenney for his sterling work which further strengthened the ties between the two organisations.

The CMI looks forward to working with Dr Dorota Lost-Sieminska and to keep on taking the relationship from strength to strength. The IMO is a very important consultative member of the CMI.

The CMI wishes the very best to Dr Lost-Sieminska in her new role.
