On 14 May 2025, the Comitรฉ Maritime International (CMI) hosted a full-day exploration of the Lex Maritima โ The Tokyo Draft in Parallel Session 2 at the Fuyo Room (Central), during the CMI Tokyo Conference.

The draft was formally introduced and discussed, offering a forward-looking perspective on the development of general principles of international maritime law โ a step toward greater legal harmonization and certainty in global shipping.
