Delivering Lecture at the International Maritime Law Institute class of 25/26
CMI President Ann Fenech delivered a lecture to the International Maritime Law Institute (IMLI) class of 2025/2026 on The Role of the Maritime Legal Practitioner in Maritime Disputes – Domestic and International.
Students were taken through a cross-section of maritime disputes – from salvage to carriage of goods, from pollution to ship repair contracts and from towage to piracy – illustrating each topic with real case examples and images from practice.
The CMI is delighted to continue supporting IMLI both through its lecturers, who contribute to various areas of the Institute’s curriculum, and through the CMI Best Overall Student Prize, which includes an all-expenses-paid participation at the next CMI Colloquium.
This year’s prize winner will join us in Rio de Janeiro in May 2027.
