IMO Open House London 21 to 22 September 2024

We are pleased to inform our members that the International Maritime Organization (IMO),  will once again participate in the annual Open House London event. On Saturday, 21 September, and Sunday, 22 September 2024, the IMO will open its doors to the public, offering a unique chance to explore its headquarters and learn more about the vital role the IMO plays in global maritime affairs.

The building will be open on:

• Saturday, 21 September, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• Sunday, 22 September, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• Last entry will be at 3:30 p.m. on both days.

Visitors will enjoy a self-guided tour featuring key highlights of the IMO building, including artefacts, a short film about the organization’s work, and access to the Main Hall (debating chamber) and the roof terrace, which boasts stunning views of the Thames and Central London. Additionally, there will be a children’s activity area, and for the first time, visitors will have the opportunity to meet the IMO Secretary-General in the Main Hall from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m..
