Maritime Law Association of the United States – Spring Meeting 2024
Ann Fenech, in her capacity as President of the CMI, attended and addressed the AGM of the The Maritime Law Association of the United States (MLAUS) at the NYC Bar in New York on the occasion of its 125th Anniversary. In her address, she took the opportunity to update members on this year’s CMI developments. Throughout the Spring meeting, she witnessed the MLAUS in action, attending meetings on marine finance, autonomous ships, and carriage of goods.
The Spring meeting concluded Barbara Holland’s tenure as President of the MLAUS and saw the election of her successor, Grady Hurley. On behalf of the CMI, the President thanked Barbara for her stellar work during her tenure, which further strengthened the relationship between the MLAUS and the CMI. Congratulations to Grady Hurley, who we are confident will continue to take our relationship from strength to strength.
Four Executive Committee members, including the President, Vice Presidents Dieter Schwampe and John O’Connor, and Exco member Francis Nolan, attended the USMLA Spring Meeting.
Congratulations MLAUS!
