EU Workshop on the Beijing Convention – Madrid

EU totally committed to encouraging member states to ratify the Convention on the International Effects of Judicial Sales of Ships

This was the message loud and clear yesterday annunciated by EU Commissioner for Justice Didier Reynders, at the workshop co-organised by the Spanish Presidency of the Council of the European Union and the European Commission in Madrid.

The workshop was intended to assist various ministries within EU member states to better understand and discuss the Beijing Convention and how important it was to bring certainty to international trade.
